In my case I would have changed the oil thrice this year for under 8000km of use. My dealership seemed to be shocked that I would defy their 4 month scheduled maintenance. Is their something different about the Mazda3 that would warrant a 4 month oil change schedule, or is my dealership simply being greedy?

Second question is about the 12 months scheduled maintenance.
