These are, exactly as the title says, Rahll's Brush Set + Pore Brushes, but for Painter!
Tired of switching back and forth to Photoshop while drawing I decided to just try and replicate these brushes for use in Painter. The only brush I didn't copy is the Palette Knife brush, because Painter already has an entire category of it's own for those.
They work in Painter X where I created them, and should work in any more recent version as well. I can personally confirm that they work in Painter 12 at least, which is the version I'm using right now.
Since the brush settings for Photoshop and Painter are vastly different these are not perfect clones, but they get the job done pretty well. Don't be afraid of messing around with the various settings to see what works best for you!
Original brushes collected, modified and created by Rahll. Modified for use in Corel Painter by me. Uploaded with Rahll's permission. Feel free to use and abuse!
To install, dump the contents of the zip here:
Painter X:
C: Program Files/Corel/Corel Painter X/Brushes/Painter Brushes
Painter 12:
Go to C: Users#/#YOUR_USERNAME#/#AppData/Roaming/CorelPainter 12/Default/Brushes/Painter 12 Brushes
Alternatively, reading through this might help: skipallenpaints.com/brush-mana…
I really really wish I had a more recent corel painter, but all I have is 4... Any chance there's something for that one?
Someone can tell me how to download the .zip with the brushes ??????
There's a download button in the sidebar, shoved inbetween the Share links and the 'More from user' areas.
Hello thank you a lot for this beautiful brush ^^ But it's compatibles with Painter X3 and windows 10? Or maybe I must make other thing I don't know XD Please help me because this brush are amazing!!
Free corel painter 2018 brushes
I'm really sorry but I have no idea! I've only used Painter X and 12 and don't know if the brush engine is still the same or which way to install brushes in X3. Maybe there are some tutorials out there? :S
But when we put brush in good place it's okay? Or I must do something when painter is open?
With Painter X and 12 it was enough to place it in the brushes directory, then when firing up Painter the brushes would be added automatically to the brush library.
ok thank you very much I will search a solution. Thank you again for your time and your brush
No problem at all! I hope you're able to figure it out
The problem is over. It was me ^^ We must put pictures and brush and I've just put brush... I'm stupid that's all haha
Thanks a lot for sharing, can't wait to try these out once I get home! A skin brush in particular is something I've wanted in Corel for a while now.
Is there a better way to explain how I can import these brushes into my mac version of Corel? I'm very lost at the moment.
I'm really sorry, I haven't used a mac in years so I have no idea. I hope you're able to figure it out! Google is your friend :3
I'm sorry, I can't see the download link, where is it?
It's at the top right next to the preview pic in the sidebar! Right underneath the share buttons and above the 'more by roryseviltwin' thumbnails.
Thank you so much for replying, I feel ditzy not seeing it before
Im using corel painter 2015 and I try to install butI can not findthe brushes in corelpainter...

I change the library but doesn't change the brushes
I'm sorry, I have no idea how to install new brushes to the 2015 version! I'm not even sure if these are compatible, as they were made with Painter X.
Hope it works for the Mac Painter 12! Sounds wonderful!
Thank you! PS has been giving me hell with my tablet, and I thought I wouldn't be able to use these brushes again.
Thank you so much! Ive been looking for some nice brush sets, and these ones are perfect!!
Painter
Thnk you very much!!!!, now that I'm using painter, this is gonna be helpful!!!
Thanks a lot for the brushes!!!
I'm currently trying to get an approach to digital drawing and i can't really find an easy and usefull program for it... I use Mac and i managed to downloaded paint tool sai, but i can't figure out how to include any more textures, brushes, etc... Seems a lot easier with Corel Painter.
I hope they work out for you!
You can edit textures and brush shape and such in Paint Tool Sai but it's a bit of a hassle to install them sometimes.
The program with the easiest and most versatile brushes, purely because there are SO MANY available, would probably be Photoshop though.
Thanks very much for these, nobody seems to do Painter brushes!
I'm sorry, I have no idea because I don't have it Perhaps you could try it out and let me know so I can add it to the description?
i will try to install it, i hope it will work with painter X too,

Corel Painter Brush Packs Free

thank you
It should! I don't currently have Painter X installed anymore but they were made in X
i've just copied the brush folder n jpeg files into the brushes folder and open painter X, but i can't find it...
should i do something else like import or load the brush?
oh, it's ok now, it's worked, but i must place it here 'C:Program FilesCorelCorel Painter XBrushesPainter Brushes'
Glad you got them to work! I'll add the path for Painter X to the description.
