Review

In Dead or Alive 5, players will once again take on the roles of the cast of DEAD OR ALIVE fighters in an intense, actionpacked brawler set in visually striking locations from around the world. The famed DOA handtohand combat returns, supported by completely new 3D stages that update the series.

Bonus courses

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding course:

Legend: Successfully complete the Master course in Arcade mode, Survival mode, or Time Attack mode.
Master: Successfully complete the True Fighter course in Arcade mode, Survival mode, or Time Attack mode.
True Fighter: Successfully complete the Champ course in Arcade mode, Survival mode, or Time Attack mode.

Bonus characters

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character:

Akira Yuki: Defeat Akira Yuki in Story mode.
Alpha-152: Earn 300 titles.
Gen Fu: Successfully complete Eliot's Story mode chapter.
Pai Chan: Earn 100 titles.
Sarah Bryant: Defeat Sarah Bryant in Story mode.

Bonus costumes

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding costume:

Christie's swimsuit: Successfully complete Solo Time Attack mode on the Legend difficulty without using any continues.
Kasumi's black suit: Successfully complete the True Kasumi chapter in Story mode.
Kasumi's kimono: Successfully complete the Kasumi vs. Christie battle in the True Kasumi chapter in Story mode.
Lisa's swimsuit: Successfully complete Survival mode on the Legend difficulty.
Tina's swimsuit: Successfully complete Solo Arcade mode on the Legend difficulty without using any continues.

To unlock an extra costume for any character, successfully complete Arcade mode on the True Legend difficulty with that character.

Lab stage

Successfully complete Story mode to unlock the Lab stage.

Alternate hair style

At the costume selection screen, highlight a character, then hold LB or RB and press any [Hold], [Punch], or [Kick] button for a different hair style. Note: This only works for some characters.

Alternate accessories

At the costume selection screen, highlight a character, then hold Left or Right and press any [Hold], [Punch], or [Kick] button for a different accessory (hat, eyewear, etc.). Pokemon symphonic evolutions miami. Note: This only works for some characters.

Alternate panties

At the costume selection screen, highlight a female character, then hold any [Hold], [Punch], or [Kick] button to change the panties the character is wearing.

Character system voices

Successfully complete command training in Training mode with a character to unlock their system voice under the options menu.

Fighting Entertainment (10 points): Have your first fight outside of Training or Versus modes.
Rivals (20 points): Register 5 fighters in your Fight List.
Rival Rumble (20 points): Fight online 10 times.
Rival Rampage (30 points): Fight online 100 times.
DOA5 Is My Life (50 points): Fight online 1,000 times.
My Fight, My Rules (10 points): Create your own online lobby.
Get out there and Fight! (10 points): Play a Lobby match.
Fighting For Real (10 points): Play a Ranked match.
Jump In (10 points): Play a Simple match.
