Those expecting to hear about the next big update and expansion coming to Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile this week will have to wait a bit longer. The developer confirmed on Twitter that it would announce update 3.6.0 on February 19th. It would subsequently launch on March 8th for PC and March 11th for Xbox One.
As for the PS4 version, it was delayed not too long ago from its release in December 2018 to February 2019. However, it now seems that it will be out by mid-March. Which isn’t guaranteed either- the developer said that it’s “likely”, and didn’t offer a concrete release date. It’s not certain whether the PS4 version will launch with update 3.6.0 included.
Other content is in the works for release throughout the year as well. Update 3.7.0 is coming in June, followed by update 3.8.0 in September, and update 3.9.0 in December. Each will introduce a new League, along with new skills, quality of life improvements, and much more. The 4.0.0 mega-expansion is out in 2020, though it may not be within the first part of the year. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime, Exiles.

The PS4 version of Path of Exile, which was initially set to launch next month, has had its release date pushed back.
Path of Exile developer Grinding Gear only just announced the PS4 version earlier this month. The release date was supposed to be around the launch of the game’s big 3.5.0 expansion – which hits PC on December 7.
Today, Grinding Gear has revealed that the PS4’s release target has been pushed to February, 2019. The developer explained in a blog post that the certification process during this time of year is busier than it expected.
Path Of Exile Ps4 Forum
“When we announced Path of Exile for PlayStation 4 earlier this month, we indicated we were aiming for a December release. Unfortunately, we have had to revise this to early February. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this causes, because we know there are many players looking forward to this release,” wrote the developer.

Grinding Gear believes everything will be ready in January, but the studio feels more comfortable promising a February window instead. Frame-rate optimisation, another aspect it’s not currently happy with, will also benefit from this delay.
“We understand that many PlayStation users were keen to play Betrayal over Christmas and have been eagerly awaiting release date news. We promise that Path of Exile will be awesome on PlayStation 4 when it is released early next year.”
Path Of Exile Ps4 Co-op
Path of Exile came to Xbox One in August 2017. If you’ve somehow never heard of Path of Exile, it’s a pretty good, free-to-play top-down ARPG.
